—–While offshore wreck fishing recently with Bill Lowman, Dan Jackson and Dale Conlon, this beautiful sailfish surprised us.

—–We were drifting live sardines through large schools of bait that were attracted to the offshore bottom structure in the area hoping to hook-up with blackfin tuna, amberjacks or kingfish. To keep our offering down, we slid a half ounce sinker above the 5/0 hook.

—–We were able to catch her and release her unharmed. It was an exciting afternoon.
