November 2019. —Tampa Bay and Anna Maria Island boast some incredible inshore and nearshore fishing opportunities in November. My clients and I found many of the usual suspects in the backwater shorelines. Snook, redfish and seatrout fishing was incredible, especially when the tide is strong.

October 2019 Fishing “Turns On”
—October 2019 fishing around Bradenton and Anna Maria Island has been as exciting as it gets. The weather was on a welcome “cooling trend,” and the fish started to get excited as well. There were redfish dumping out of the rivers with each rainstorm, providing some great opportunities to catch and release mature redfish in shallow water.

Anna Maria Island Fishing Report – Summer 2019
—So far, July 2019 has paid off big for fishing charters aboard my 24′ Carolina Skiff. We are having fun charter fishing the waters around Anna Maria Island, Sarasota Bay and the Manatee River in Bradenton. The weather has been hot and muggy, as expected this time of year, but the inshore bite has been equally hot! My fishing excursion clients have been finding continual, exciting backwater action with snook, seatrout, redfish. We have also been able to zero-in on spanish mackerel, mangrove snapper and gag grouper in and around Tampa Bay. We are locating the spanish mackeral, snapper and gag grouper over inshore structure, such as wrecks, rock, even bridge pilings.
